Joey meet Ray, Ray meet Joey.

Every morning goes down something like this. It's like Joey wants to say, "You're still here?"

One of our fave visitors, Carrie, my pledge sister-- who will never outstay her welcome.

UOTW

Update of the Week
Here's a pic of my good friend, Leslie, and I. She had a wedding shower the week after Ray was born. It was great showing all of my high school friends baby Ray. I'll be in Les's wedding mid May. She's giving me great motivation to get down to my pre-baby weight. I have about 10 lbs to go!
Geeze, I can't believe baby Ray is already 3 weeks old. We just hit the 3 week fussy period- grr!! He's been sleeping like an angel till last night. We'll see how long this lasts.
Below is a pic of our cousin Willie Matis. Two studs, huh?
Priceless pic. This is what my husband longs for at work all day. It is such a sweet picture of them cuddling and dosing off while watching March Madness.

Oh did I mention we bought a swing set last week?? Toys R Us didn't mention it comes in 2 200 lb boxes with about 2,000 pieces. My dad came over to help this week. It'll be nice for us to let Joey out to play. He's OBSESSED with "outside." He asks to go outside... maybe 150 times a day, no joke.

LJ, Ray and I went to the Zoo last week. Being a mother of two now rarely lets me get good pics. This is the pic we came home with... awesome work, Mom.

Oh my saviors!!!!!!! I used to work with Emmie and Sadie... remember they had kids the January before LJ. They are both due in June now. I probably would have already had 10 nervous breakdowns if it weren't for them. They check on me every day...practically every hour. They offer me advice, support and a friend to talk to at any time of the day. Thank the good Lord he put them in my life, seriously.

Yes, he's turning into a little boy...

And he is now our little baby....

And together, they make me one of the happiest people east of the Mississippi River.

But do they look a thing alike?

Life would not be complete without a picture of one of our fave playmates, Sloane. Who knew two kids could play so well together??

Too tired.

Too tired to blog, so maybe I'll try again sometime this week. We're still dealing with some health issues that developed leaving the hospital, but hopefully things will be better sometime... let's say... around Easter. I have a ton of catching up to do, but for now I'm going to take a cat nap. Night night.

I could post for days.

I think I just downloaded over 400 pictures to samsclub.com to be mailed to my house. Man, I love the convenience of sitting at my computer and doing so much. Speaking of sitting, I've been trying to do a lot of it, but it's pretty much impossible with a toddler running around. I've been feeling pretty good, but still really swollen with water. Did I fail to mention I only lost 1/2 lb by giving birth to a 7 1/2 pounder??? I'm still mad about this!! HAHAH!!

Below is an adorable picture of what entertained LJ at the hospital- the shower. Before we left the hospital. I already miss Clarion North. The nurses and food were absolutely amazing- it should be called Hotel Clarion.

Big brother is adjusting very well. He just gets a little discouraged when I can't hold them both. Bummer we weren't born with 4 arms.

Daddy Joey lovin' life.

I think this photo is precious. This is right after he was born. What a beautiful moment!

Family

My perfect sister bringing me 2 bottles of wine in the hospital. She was reading my mind!!!! My sister-in-law had her flight cancelled on Friday going back to Philly, so she miraculously was here for the delivery- perfect timing weather!

My favorite doctor in the world showed up at 3pm wearing a Burberry polo and jeans, changed into scrubs, watched the UNC/Wake Forest game with Joey and I, asked if I wanted to have a baby, delivered Joey at 4:30, brought me a coke, changed back into his clothes, and said he was going to get dinner. He came to the hospital just for us!!

Both Grandmas trying to handle double trouble, and yes, my mom is feeding Ray with a syringe- he's had trouble with the "sucking" reflex.

Nanie and Papaw- Ray was named after my dad's dad, Raymond Taylor, who passed when I was in the 5th grade.

Grandma and Grandpa Matis- they aren't happy at all, hehe, jk!
